Day out with Thomas
(29 April - 2 May)

All children have has seen the small blue Thomas Train locomotive on television and video, and during this Danish holiday weekend, the authentic Thomas locomotive will be paying a visit from the UK to the Danish Railway Museum - this is the only place in Denmark or Scandinavia where this will be possible!!!

Over the course of these four days, the museum will be offering a wide selection of activities. Naturally, you will be able to ride the Thomas Train, and Thomas will also take part in short, amusing sketches together with other carriages and locomotives. You can also ride a train pulled by Thomas' Danish girlfriend, Hansine! Children can romp over a huge area filled with Thomas Train toys. We will be showing Thomas movies, telling Thomas stories and there will be Thomas face-painting. You can ride a mini-train or the red vintage omnibus. Colour your own Thomas drawings and visit all of the museum's ordinary exhibitions and the unique shop with Thomas toys.

All of this will take place at the Danish Railway Museum in an extended holiday weekend (in Denmark) starting Thursday 29 April through Sunday 2 May, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The price is low as it only costs the price of a family ticket. The ticket is valid all day long for 2 adults and 3 children: DKK 270 - which includes all the activities on offer, including the trips with Thomas Train and the vintage bus!
