A café seating 60–70 is located near the entrance on a balcony overlooking the exhibition and with a view of Odense Station.
The café shop will be open in 2010 as follows:
Winter mid-term break with Train Land 13-21 February: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. 22-28 February: 10.30 a.m. - 15.30 p. m.
Easter holidays with operating model railway 1-5 April: 10.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Danish Holiday with Thomas the Tank Engine 29 April - 2 May: 9.30 a.m. - 3.45 p.m.
Father's Day / Constitution Day, 5 June: 11 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Summer holidays 26 June - 18 July: 11.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m. 19 July - 13 August, 11 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Express Train Anniversary 21 August: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 22 August: 10 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.
Autumn mid-term break, 16-24 October: 10.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.
The café sells various drinks and à la carte dishes, such as hot dogs with bread, sandwich rolls, rissoles with potato salad, toasted sandwiches, beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea and cakes.
When the café shop is not open, hot drinks can be purchased from a vending machine. Cold drinks are sold at the reception.
The café is smoke-free.
The balcony and café can be accessed by a stairway and by a lift.
In connection with group visits and other events, serving in the café can be ordered by arrangement.
Visitors are welcome to partake of their packed lunches and drinks in the café area when the shop is not open.
Otherwise, visitors may partake of packed lunches and drinks elsewhere at the museum, both indoors and outdoors.
NB! A 10% discount is available at Café From (a two-minute walk from the museum on the second floor of Odense Banegårdscenter/Railway Centre) by presenting your museum ticket purchased the same day.
